LIPA, BATANGAS

The San Sebastian Cathedral and the miraculous Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. These are the pride of Lipa, Batangas, Philippines.

LIPA
This city has no known tourists’ attractions as far as I know but I have been to two of its religious sites, the Lipa Cathedral and the Carmel Chapel.

San Sebastian Cathedral
A Philippine historical site built in 1865. One of the oldest churches in the province with its intricately painted arched ceiling and dome.


Our Lady of Mt. Carmel of Lipa
This is an Aparition Chapel. If you’re not too religious, come for the beautiful landscapes. If you are a devout Catholic, this place is one of the many places where an apparition occurred; where Mary Mediatrix of All Grace appeared on top of a vine.
